APSO Executive Board adopts Strategy 2025–2032
The Association of Paralympic Sports Organisations (APSO) is pleased to announce the official adoption of its new Strategy 2025–2032, following approval by the APSO Executive Board at its meeting on 23 June 2025.
Developed through an inclusive and consultative process, the strategy reflects the views, priorities, and aspirations of APSO’s members and key stakeholders across the Paralympic Movement. Input was gathered via strategic session and a series of individual interviews, ensuring the document is both grounded in reality and forward-looking in vision.
“This is more than a document – it’s a shared roadmap,” said Sabrina Ibáñez, APSO President. “Our members asked for clarity, collaboration, and stronger foundations. This strategy provides the structure to deliver just that.”
The Strategy 2025–2032 is structured around four strategic pillars:
- Smarter Foundations
- Stronger Together
- Open Doors
- Growth from Within
Together, these pillars outline APSO’s commitment to reinforcing governance and capacity-building, uniting member voices, strengthening partnerships, and becoming a more visible and effective organisation in the Paralympic ecosystem.
The document will be presented for endorsement by International Federations and IOSDs at the upcoming APSO General Assembly in Seoul, Korea on 23 September 2025.
The strategy was developed in partnership with Quantum Consultancy, whose team led the drafting and stakeholder engagement process. The graphic design was generously supported by Gregory Takatch, Creative Design Manager at the FEI.
